With a mirror, it's not just about the design, but also about the quality of the reflection. That's why we use only high-quality silver mirror glass.

There are roughly two types of mirror glass:

• Silver mirror glass – provides a very clear, true-to-life reflection with minimal distortion.
• Aluminum mirror glass—is a more affordable alternative, but generally produces a less clear reflection.

All of our mirrors feature silver-coated mirror glass. This offers:

• 100% true-to-life reflection up to approximately 1.5 meters away.
• 98% reflectance at a distance of 1.5 to 3 meters.

By comparison, aluminum mirror glass typically has a reflection purity of about 85% to 90% at these distances, which means the reflection may be slightly less clear and accurate.

We specifically mention that we use silver mirror glass so that you can be sure you’re choosing professional-quality mirror glass. If another supplier doesn’t specify the type of mirror glass used, there’s a good chance it’s aluminum mirror glass.

All of our mirrors are made with silver mirror glass that falls under the category of safety glass.

• For framed mirrors, the back of the safety glass is glued to a 2mm MDF backing board.
• In the case of frameless mirrors, the back of the mirror is covered with a strong adhesive film.

Both methods fall under the category of safety glass.

Note: (Mirror) glass remains a fragile product, even if it is safety glass. Always handle it with care and follow our hanging and usage instructions.

Delivery will take place within 5 business days. For scheduling purposes, our carrier will contact you by email to confirm the delivery date. If you’d like your order delivered at a different time, you can easily specify the delivery time during the ordering process.

Germany and France

Delivery will take place within 10 business days. For scheduling purposes, our carrier will contact you by email to confirm the delivery date. If you’d like your order delivered at a different time, you can easily specify the delivery time during the ordering process.

Your order will be delivered in sturdy packaging. However, we’ve chosen to work with carriers that specialize in delivering mirrors. That’s because we want your order to be delivered to you in good condition and as agreed.

• Your order will be delivered within 5 business days in the Netherlands and Belgium
• Your order will be delivered within 10 business days in Germany and France

For logistical planning purposes, the carrier will contact you (by email) to schedule a delivery time.

Our carrier will deliver the package on the ground floor, behind the first front door. Do you live on the 1st floor or higher? If there is no elevator, the package will be delivered on the ground floor.

There may be times when you want to return an order. Perhaps you don’t like the product after all, or maybe there’s another reason why you no longer want the order. Whatever the reason, you have the right to cancel your order up to 30 days after receipt without giving a reason.

After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount.

You are only responsible for the return shipping costs from your home address to the online store. Since a mirror is a fragile and large item, we use our own shipping carrier to ensure that the mirror is returned to us in good condition and intact.

The return fee depends on the size and fragility of the package. For fragile items, such as a mirror, we recommend that you have us book the shipment through our own carrier so you can be sure it arrives at our location undamaged.

• Mirrors up to 179 cm in length: €20
• Mirrors 180 cm or longer, or round mirrors with a diameter of 100 cm or more: €40

Exchange:

If you choose to exchange an item—for example, for a different color or size—we will charge 50% of the return shipping costs.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to the seller with all accessories included and—if reasonably possible—in its original condition and packaging. To exercise this right, please contact us at info@nordic-style.nl. We will then refund the order amount within 14 days of receiving your return notification, provided that the product has already been returned to us in good condition.

If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary to test the product, we may charge you for the resulting loss in value. Please handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged when returning it.
